Inocencia "Cindy" Huston
1949 - 2018

Inocencia "Cindy" Huston, age 68 of Louisville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1949 in Sibalom, Province of Antique, Philippines, to the late Fulgencio Basanes and Aurea Balsomo Basanes. Cindy was a very kind and caring soul. She spent most of her years working as a long-term care CNA with the elderly. Cindy was very affectionate and cared deeply for her family. She was always generous and enjoyed helping others when she was capable. She was devout in her faith in God and prayed the rosary daily and shared her blessings in prayer for loved ones. Some of her favorite things were spending time with her grandkids, playing bingo, and listening to music (she was a big Elvis fan). She mostly enjoyed spending her days watching movies and television game shows while conversing with the love of her life. She loved elephants and has acquired quite a collection over the years. Cindy had a smile that could light up a room. She is and will continue to be sorely missed. Her beautiful spirit and legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas Huston; her children, Enrique Basanes, Allison Simpson, Shari Huston, Kimberley Huston and Todd Huston; her sister, Azucena Basanes Mariano; her half-sister, Catalina Vicente Mondejar; her 13 adored Grandchildren; her niece, Nena Pillado Sadler; and many other close friends and family.
