In Memory Of
Robert Morris "Bob" Watters
1946 - 2018

Robert Watters was born in Louisville, KY on April 3, 1946, to Mary Johnson Dorsey and Robert Watters. Bobby, as he preferred to be called, was a caring and loving person. He was vibrant, fearless and a confident person. He was admired for his strong mindedness and was always well spoken.

Bobby attended Jefferson County Public School and graduated from Atherton High School, where he was known for his athletic abilities. He received an Associates Degree in Social Services Technology from Columbus Technical Institute in Columbus, OH. He also serviced in the United States Army as an E-4 Specialist during the Vietnam War. In 1993, Governor Breretor Jones declared him a Kentucky Colonel, which is the highest title of honor bestowed in the state of Kentucky. Bobby would always lighten up a room with his personality and energy and we will always remember his way with words and flashy style.

He was preceded in death by his mother, brother and sister.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Marysue; daughter, Kelly Jordan; step-children, Dana Allen and Brian Allen; four sisters, Brenda Grimes, Frances Taylor, Deborah (Marty) Lee and Barbara Lawson; brother, Kenneth (Donna) Watters; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
