She was born on August 20, 1922 to the late George and Sallie Mann. She worked at Federal Reserve Bank, Bacon's, was a Realtor, a secretary, and retired as receptionist from KY Peer Review Org. Jeanne loved walking, line dancing with J'Town Seniors, and her real passion was her love of animals especially her canine companions.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, of 56 years.
She is survived by her daughter Carole Volz (Rick), grandsons Bryan and Kyle (Lyndsey), and family friend, Donna Broster.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to her Morning Pointe caregivers, the nurses at Baptist East Palliative Care and Hosparus.
