Donald Francis Dunn, age 89 of Louisville passed away Saturday December 2, 2017. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and served in the Navy on the USS Uvalde in the Pacific fleet during WWII. Afterwards he attended and graduated from the University of Louisville Police Institute and joined and served on the police force in Jefferson County. After police service, he spent 30 years in the transportation business. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Rose Cumiskey Dunn, brother Richard and sister Mary Ellen Nahstoll.

Don is survived by his wife Nina Wilson Dunn of almost 60 years, daughter Kim DeSiena (husband Tom, son Michael), and sons Donald (wife Donna, son Jonathan and his wife Morgan), Richard (wife Marjan, sons Richard, Wilson, Nolan) and Timothy (wife Gay, daughters Sarah, Leighann, granddaughter Riley).
