Ralph Christy, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 8, 2017.

He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1170, was a Past District 6 Commander and a member of the State Color Guard. Ralph loved his family, was a proud Navy Veteran and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Ralph was born on December 30, 1958 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to Delores (Greggs) Christy and the late Lester Christy.

He was also preceded in death by his brother David Christy and sister Karen Brown.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan (Goda) Christy; children Michael (Tanya), Jaimie (Mark) and Amanda (Ryan) and grandson Colton. He is also survived by his mother Delores Christy and brother Pete Christy.

A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at the VFW Post 1170 (107 Evergreen Road Louisville, KY 40243).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Middletown Post 1170.
