Larry William Rosenberger, Sr., 74, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He spent many years in the United States National Guard and was a long time member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Larry loved to hike in the woods, hunt & fish, and was an avid IU and Indianapolis Colts fan. He worked as a maintenance man until his retirement from BASF, after 44 years of service.

Larry was born on July 18, 1940 to the late Joseph & Eleanor (Peay) Rosenberger. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Kathleen Rosenberger; sister-in-law, Barbara Rosenberger.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Evelyn (Penn) Rosenberger; son, Larry Rosenberger, Jr. (Jacqueline); daughter, Kimberly Rosenberger; brother, Donnie Rosenberger; sister, Elaine Blunk (Bob); grandchildren, Christopher & Katelyn Rosenberger.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday in the chapel at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
