Judy Vannatta
She was preceded in death by her parents Gleah Latham York and
Lewis Oatts, Sr. Survivors include a son, Michael Vannatta, brothers Ted
Oatts and George David Oatts (Kim), several nieces and nephews,
special aunt and uncle Charles and Margaret Barker and special friend Carolyn Staples.
Judy graduated from Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio. Her mother
died while she was attending Eastern Kentucky University but she
persevered and graduated with her degree. Judy was a devout
Christian, giving to several ministries and always sharing her faith. She attended Evangel and Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.
Her main focus was loving and bringing up her son Michael. She will
live on thru him. She opened her home to his friends and had a
motherly concern for each. Judy loved visiting with family, family
Reunions and simple pleasures like visiting state parks and enjoying
God's creation.
She had a generous heart for GOD, family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and a hug to give. We will miss her.
A Service of Remembrance will be held 7PM Friday at Newcomer funeral Home in Middletown, KY.with visitation after 4 PM. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Monticello, KY. With visitation after 11 AM. Burial will be in Elk Springs
Cemetery.
