Tim was born on December 19, 1952, in Louisville, KY to the late James and Margaret Gentry.
He is survived by his children, Tim Gentry, Jr., Kristina Gentry, Chad Gentry and Kimberly Gentry (John); four granddaughters; and one grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1 p.m.- 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service to honor the life Tim will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
In loving memory of Tim memorial contributions may be made to Riverport Community Church or James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
