Melissa was born on November 4, 1983 in Salem, Indiana to the late Tommy Davidson and Pamela (Bailey) Davidson. She was a member of Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Melissa enjoyed crafting, painting, and her furry beloved pets; Si, Bella, and Scarlet.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Davidson. She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Smallwood; daughter, Jaylin Smallwood; mother, Pamra Davidson, brothers; Jeremy Davidson, Christopher Smith, Mark Wilson, father-in-mother-in-law, Steve and Andrea Spurgeon; sister-in-law, Holly Spurgeon, along with a host of family and friends
A visitation will be from 10AM to 2PM on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her service to follow at 2PM with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family in care of Nick Smallwood.
