James William Barnes, age 95 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was an Army-Air Corps Veteran of WWII. Jim was a Mason with Englewood Lodge in Indianapolis and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Bardstown, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel; his parents, James William and Emma Pfannenschmidt Barnes; and 6 siblings.

Jim is survived by his loving son, James D. Barnes (Carol); grandson, Bradley Alan Barnes (Debbie); granddaughter, Lori Jeanne Sweat (Matt); great-grandson, Patrick James Sweat; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Sweat; and a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 11am Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 754 Bellwood Road Bardstown, KY 40004.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
