Connie Sue Jewell, 48, passed away July 26, 2015. She enjoyed camping with her family. Connie was very outgoing and loved spending time with her family and pets. She had a special personality that could always make everyone have a brighter day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Jackie Walters; son, Brian Walters and sister, Becky Jo Cooper.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Jewell, Jr.; children, Thomas Jewell, Jack Walters, Dustin "DJ" Jewell and Drusilla "Dru" Rutledge; grandchildren, Brylie Walters, Nevaeh Jewell and Kaiden Willibaum; sisters, Vicky Carter, Robin Wisner, Sandy Asher and Gina Anglin and her beloved beagle, Julie and dachshund, Toby.

Visitation for Connie will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Connie's life will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 beginning at 12pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Internment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West.
