Steven Wayne “Cookie” Cocke, 49, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. Steve also enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.

He was born on October 8, 1965 in New Albany, Indiana to Barbara J. (Webb) Cocke and the late Ronald J. Cocke. Along with his mother, Steve is survived by his girlfriend, Kristin Holton; brother, Mark A. Cocke (Stephanie); aunts and uncles, Violet Simon (Mike), Tim Webb, Bill Webb (Jean), Mary Lamb; and close cousin, Shannon Carter.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11 AM. His Funeral Service will take place at 1 PM Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
