Joyce Ann (Quire) McCoy, 76, passed away Sunday, June 28, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom; daughters, Valerie McCoy, Lisa Westerfield (Butch), Jesseca McCoy; son, John McCoy (Sarah); grandchildren, Brooke Hoile (Anthony), Chloe and Eli McCoy; and great-granddaughter, Hadley Rose Hoile; brother, Jim Quire (Sue), and a sister, Vera Warren (Leon).

Joyce was a member of Grace Assembly of God in Shelbyville. As a former Music Director of Okolona Christian Church, she was on the team and a writer for the first Living Christmas Tree production in the state of Kentucky. She was a retired teacher’s assistant at Simpsonville Elementary. A watcher of the nations, she was an expert in end-time events. If she could speak now, she would say, “Jesus is coming soon.”

Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, June 30th and 9-11am on Thursday, July 2nd, followed by funeral ceremony at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Burial will be at the Simpsonville Masonic Cemetery, Simpsonville, Kentucky.

Memorials may be made to Grace Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
