Kenneth Ray Campbell, age 72, went to his Heavenly home June 25, 2015.
He was a graduate of the former Louisville Technical Institute, and retired from Derrick Engineering. Kenneth served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer. For over thirty years, Ken strove to live one day at a time, alongside his beloved extended family who were mutual friends of Bill W.
He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-six years, Connie Roberts Campbell; his parents, James A. and Erma Jean Campbell; a sister, Janet Anderson; a brother, James R. Campbell.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Desiree Graef (Rob), Sarah Smith, Susan Lattis (Steve); brothers Ronald Campbell (Jo), Gerald Campbell (Radine); sisters Carol Sue Miller (Richard), Leah Campbell, and Jean Shirk; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and his dog Kayla.
A celebration of Ken's life will be at 2pm Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Highland Baptist Church, 1101 Cherokee Road, Louisville, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Highland Baptist Church Building Love fund.
