Perkinson, Sharon Lynn, 56, of LaGrange, passed away in the presence of her loving family on May 24, 2015, after a 13 year battle with cancer.
She graduated from Oldham County High School in 1976, and attended Hanover College and College of William & Mary. After working as a flight attendant for United Airlines for 18 years, she took early retirement due to her health problems. She later earned an RN degree from Yavapai Community College in Prescott, AZ between her bouts with cancer. Travel and living in different parts of the United States added interest to her life. The variety of rescued pets thru the years were her pride and joy.
Sharon is survived by her loving parents, Maurice and Barbara Perkinson; sister, Sandra Brown; and her two nieces, Nicole Brown and Caitlyn Brown.
Through her religious beliefs, cremation was chosen. There will be no services scheduled at this time.
