1922 - 2015

Mildred Braden, age 92 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was retired from Brown & Williamson with over 25 years of service. Mildred was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church and a former member of 9th & O Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Braden; her son, Norman; her mother, Golda Shelton Leonard; and seven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Braden is survived by her children, Joyce Kliewer (Kenneth) and Jerry Braden (Suzanne); grandchildren, Ray (LaDonna) and Douglas Kliewer (Trish); great-grandchildren, Katie, Shelby, Kayla, Emma Kliewer and Patrick Daugherty; siblings, Marie Moxley, Fay Dillard and Harlan Leonard (Carol); and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be noon on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm in the Chapel at Southeast.

Memorials may be made to donor’s charity of choice.
