Sylvester was born in Louisville on December 14, 1946, to the late Sylvester and Alice Williams. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Norman Williams; and niece, Anna Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Pam Williams; children, Terrance, Darryl, Juan, Tyrone Williams, Lamont White, and Donna Cole; 15 grandchildren; 8 brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Robert Whiteman; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church (820 S. 26th Street, Louisville, KY). Funeral ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the church with cremation to follow.
