Bobby Willhite
1942 - 2015

Bobby J. Willhite, 73, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a man who appreciated classic things; from watches to guns; cars and television shows. Bobby enjoyed going to flea markets and loved motorcycles. He was a family man and loved spending time with family & friends. Above all of this, Bobby loved spreading the gospel and telling everyone about the Lord. His first job was on a barge when he was young but he did not know how to swim. After falling in the water and nearly drowning, Bobby decided to find a new career. He went on to build cooling towers for Marley Cooling Towers where he would later retire.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Pollie Neace; daughters, Robin Slone (Ervin) & Grace Peck (Steven); sisters, Seattle Goen & Betty Dodson (Ronald); brother, Billy Willhite; grandchildren, Joshua (Connie), Cyndi (Joe), Jaden, Elijah, Zane; great grandchildren, Caleb & Lilly “Bug”; sister-in-law, Becky Walker (Lee). He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Willihite & Beulah (Harp) Adler; his first wife, Marilyn Willhite; brother, Tommy & Buck Willihite.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9 AM. His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, IN.
