Carolyn Kay (Bottorff Anderson, 63, of New Albany,Indiana was called home on Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born on August 13, 1951 in Floyd County, Indiana to Marion L.and Gladys Fay Bottorff. Carolyn worked as a home health care provider for Kaiser Home Health in New Albany. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henryville, Indiana and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her siblings, Marilyn Threlkel (twin sister), Beverly Baumann, Nancy Guernsey, Sharon Moulder, and James “Jim” Bottorff. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Henry Anderson; children, David Anderson (Laura), Deborah Smith (Damon); sister, Lynn Denniso; brothers, Terry and Keith Bottorff, and Tim Sells; six grandchildren, Christina Elam, Tylor Zollman, Blake and Noah Anderson, Carlee and Camdon Smith; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 3 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
