1929 - 2015

Marguerite Hoffman, 86, passed away on April 13, 2015. She worked at Seagrams Distillery for 33 years and after retiring moved to Doe Valley Estates in Brandenburg, KY. In 1997 Marguerite and her husband, Frank moved to Sun City Center, FL. She enjoyed going to estate sales, playing golf and bowling. They were active and proud parishioners of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Frank Hoffman; parents, Hal and Edna Payne; brothers, LaMont and James Payne and sisters, Marion Harp and Becky Payne.

She is survived by her children, Tom (Norma) Hoffman, Steve (Terri) Hoffman, Dan (Cheryl) Hoffman, Diane Cornelius and Bob (Jeanne) Hoffman; 10 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren; 16 great-children; 10 step-great grandchildren; brother, Harold Payne and sisters, Helen Childress and Theresa Lehmenkuler.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015, from 12pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway)with a celebration of Marquerite's life beginning at 7pm.
