Jason Christopher Friedly, 45, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was a 1988 graduate of New Albany High School and an employee at Reynolds Aluminum in Louisville. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jason was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

He was born on October 30, 1969 in Junction City, Kansas. Jason is survived by his mother, Linda Schmidt (Joe); daughter, Jessica Friedly; granddaughter, Isabella; siblings, Debbie Newton (Joe), Lorie Ott (Mark), Stacia Chirrey (Bruce), Jill Schmidt-Toto (Cris); nieces and nephews, Amber and Morgan Newton, Brenden and Jeren Ott, Sonya and Liam Chirrey; and numerous good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Friedly and brother, Bryan Friedly.

Cremation was chosen following Jason’s wishes. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service taking place at 6 PM.
