He graduated from Ballard High School and Matriculated at Kentucky State University for 3 years.
Darryl was born on October 9, 1991, in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Turpin, Sr; uncles, Leroy Turpin (Elouise) and Michael Turpin.
Darryl is survived by his mother, Juanita Harris Turpin; father, Darryl Turpin, I (Lena); grandparents, Joyce Minter Harris, Ned Harris (JoAnn) and Katie Turpin; brothers, Zion Turpin, Daniel Bond and Malachi Cambron; sister, Ryane Williams (Skye); aunts, Cheri Harris Smith, Yvette Harris Kemp; uncles, Mark Harris, Kevin Harris (Lisa) and Gary Turpin (Kim); cousin and best friend, Michael Turpin; cousins, David Turpin, Apocia Turpin, Katia Turpin, Yvona Harris, Markelle Harris, Grady McNeil, Thomas Smith, Zachary Harris, Miles Smith, and Gabriella Harris.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 6:30pm at the Jeffersonian (formerly known as Jeffersontown Community Center) (10617 Taylorsville Road Louisville, KY 40299).
