1969 - 2018

David Jackson Epley, 49, born in Louisville, KY, passed away from a sudden illness and left to be with the Lord on March 18, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Erin Epley.

David is survived by his wife Brigett; his two children, which he adored, Justin Epley and Brittani Fraze; grandchildren Noah and Carson; father, Jack Epley and Robin; mother, Rita Carrol and Tommy; sister, Angela and Gary; brother, James and Reese; brother, Stephen; niece, Kaela and nephews, Dallas and Jadon; grandma, Cynthia E Epley and Jim and many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends, all who David loved very much.

David was always a kind gentle giving person who loved his family and God. He was active in our community serving in the Lord’s Kitchen. David earned a master contractor license and started a profitable HVAC business. He went further to obtain a real estate license.

Everyone that knew David was blessed to know his gentle spirit, kind heart and will to help anyone in need. David has passed on to the gates of heaven and now it’s time for his reward in the Kingdom of God for being a faithful and righteous servant.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Kentucky Humane Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
