Charles Marion "Chuck" Harlan
1942 - 2018

Charles Marion "Chuck" Harlan, 76 of Louisville, KY passed away on March 9, 2018. He was a Navy veteran who was proud to serve his country. Chuck enjoyed singing karaoke and going fishing. He loved watching football and his favorite team was the Denver Broncos. Chuck cherished his family, friends and his time on earth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Harlan, brothers, Bruce Harlan and Bill Harlan and sister, Delores Powell.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Nola Harlan; daughter, Margaret (Carlos Acosta) Dominguez; son, Mike Phelps; adopted daughter, Shannon Velasquez-Perez; grandchildren, Dakotah Ford, Sierra Dominguez, Ramiro Dominguez, Selena Perez, Rafael Zavala,Michael Phelps, Jr., Shonna Lavoie, Ashley Lavoie, Charles Lavoie, Paul McWhirter, Rebecca Harlan, daughter, Dawn Harlan Whonder and son, William Harlan; sisters, Kathy Tavares, Marilyn Rosenberry, Brenda LaDuke and Cheryl Viers; brother, John Harlan; nieces, Tina Rosenberry, Michaele Mix, Sonia Martin, and Lisa Pritchett and nephews, Randall and Richard Rosenberry.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Chuck's life will be Thursday, March 15, 2018, beginning at 12pm at the chapel of the funeral home.

A graveside service will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY beginning at 1:30pm.
