Mrs. Alline Huff Stevenson, age 85 of Cornelia, Georgia and formerly of Valley Station, Kentucky, passed away on Monday morning, February 19, 2018 surrounded by her children.

Mrs. Stevenson was born January 3, 1933 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Cuba Huff and Nova Embry Huff. She was the 5th of 10 children, raised on numerous farms during tough times but with wonderful memories and stories to tell. Alline was a wonderful wife, sweet loving mother and the best mamaw. She was an expert seamstress, exquisite quilter and loved her garden. Also loved her family and loved spending time with them telling stories of days gone by. Alline was also known by all as a wonderful cook, caregiver, neighbor and friend and truly cared about the well-being of others. A very dear friend to many. She was the heart of all of our families. Alline loved her natural family but also had a deep love for her spiritual family and tried to live her life in hopes she could be a help to someone else, her faith in God motivating her choices in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years, Lawrence Robert Stevenson, Jr., two of her brothers, Judson Huff and Donovan Huff, two of her sisters, Yuleen Sweets and Ramona Hurt and her son-in-law, Donald Lee Stephens.
