William Clyde "Bill" Wright, Jr.
1946 - 2018

William C. "Bill" Wright, Jr., 71 Ended his battle and went on to his reward February 17, 2018.
After graduating from Seneca High School and attending Murray State University he served in the Navy and was stationed in Vietnam in 1969-70. After an apprenticeship as a stone mason under his grandfather, Albert Troutman, he became an artist specializing in Bedford Stone, and his true love, Creek Stone. He owned Highland Records and was known and loved by many friends, music lovers and customers. He busied himself throughout his career buying and selling collectibles at flea markets throughout the South from Florida to Kentucky. Bill also ran a booth at the Shelby County Flea Market selling vinyl, baseball cards and other collectibles. He was preceded in death by his parents William C. Wright, Sr. and Patricia Troutman Wright.

Bill is survived by a son, Jesse; and missed dearly by his family, sister, Dr. Laura Salyers (James); and brother, Robert C. Wright, Sr. (Jacqueline;) as well as his cousins and dearest loves, Jacenda Rupe and Brian Pace. He was a loving uncle to six nieces and nephews; Robert, Jr., Richard, Janna, Ryan, Jacob and Emily. He also had 10 great nieces and nephews, as well as his Aunt Angela; his dear cousin, Pam Ballinger, who was with him throughout his recent hospitalization and all his cousins have visited him and held in their hearts, especially, Myrtie, Kim, Karen and Joseph. Prayers were sent by other cousins from near and far Charlie, Debbie, Alice, Matthew, Andrew, Daniel, Mike and many others.

Visitation will be 2-5 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Bill's life to follow at 5pm.

Burial will be 10 am Friday February 23rd Resthaven Memorial Park.
