Brenda Carol Barr, age 47 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. She was a graduate of South Oldham High School and received her degree from Sullivan College in Accounting where she was awarded the President’s Cup, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Brenda was a former Controller in the automotive industry. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hollie Barr; grandmothers, Edna Pearline Streible and Opal Louise Giles.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Danny Eagler; her mother, Catherine S. Barr; her sister, Sheila L. Barr (Scott Miller), nephew, Christopher S. Parrish (Jessica Dwinnels); great-nephew, Mark S. Gullett; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12-6pm Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, and after 9:30am on Monday. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be at 11am Monday, February 19th at the funeral home, followed by burial in Floydsburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
