Rebecca Marie “Becky” Johnson, 19, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was a 2016 graduate of New Albany High School and was in her second year of college at Indiana University Southeast. Becky was a member of Christ’s Community Church of the Nazarene and a past member of the Floyd County Youth Symphony. Becky was an employee at Feeders Supply and enjoyed spending time with her family and boyfriend, Michael.

Becky was born on February 8, 1998, in San Diego, California, to Bradley and Carie (Adkins) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Betty Adkins, and Dewain Johnson.

Along with her loving parents, Becky is survived by her siblings, D. Alan Johnson (Kayce), Victoria Dineen (Joshua), and Laura Johnson; grandmother, Judith Johnson; nephew, Maverick Johnson; and boyfriend, Michael Denison.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Crandall, Indiana.
