Noble Craig Atherton, Sr.
1959 - 2018

Atherton, Sr. Noble Craig, 58, of Louisville, died unexpectedly from a heart attack January 20th at Jewish Hospital.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Noble C. Atherton; mother, Soffia Atherton; and his brother Alfred D. “AD” Hall.

He is survived by his son, Noble Craig “CJ” Atherton; grandsons, Caden Carta, Damen Carta; granddaughters, Alia, Emma, & Sofia Atherton; sisters, Donna Dusel Dallenbach (Fred) and Laura Gannon (Brian); and many additional family members and friends.

Craig graduated from Waggener High School and attended University of Louisville. He owned Apple Refrigeration & Appliance Service.Craig was a devout Catholic & a member of St. Elizabeth Parrish. Craig was an exceptional man who was generous and loving. He volunteered wherever he was needed & was involved with numerous organizations.

Visitation will be at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Chapel, 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243 on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2 p.m. - 8p.m.

Funeral service will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., Louisville, KY 40217 on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10 a.m.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary.

There will be an inurnment at Cave Hill Cemetery at a later date.
