Rick Thomas Schultheiss, 66, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on January 6, 2018. Rick worked in the Human Resources department at Jeff Boat where he enjoyed their annual fundraising for United Way. He loved NASCAR, bowling, traveling with his family, and motorcycling.

Rick was born on May 15, 1951, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Robert L. and MaryAnna (Combs) Schultheiss. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Lee Thomas Schultheiss.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vicki L. (Sharp) Schultheiss; daughter, Lynn M. Schultheiss; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Xavier, Westin, Billie, and Sage; and brothers, Robert A. (Joan) and Ron W. (Julie) Schultheiss.

Memorial Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen in regards to Rick’s wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like Memorial Donations to be made to United Way (701 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314).
