1961 - 2017

Louis Anthony “Tony” Buehler, age 56 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Tony was born May 18, 1961 in Louisville to the late Robert and Irene Miceli Buehler. Tony had a very kind and gentle soul with a heart so big it never stopped spreading love to others. He was a proud U.S. Veteran and served in the branch of the Navy on the USS King as a Sonar Technician. He proudly served his country and was awarded many ribbons for outstanding performance for marksmanship and wrestling.

Tony excelled in many sports in high school such as track and wrestling. He was an avid UofL Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching all sports. Family meant everything to Tony. He dearly loved the holidays and get-togethers with all his siblings and family, especially the nieces and nephews who brought him such joy.

Tony is survived by his siblings, Joan MacHose (Mike), Robert Buehler (Judy), Jeanette Glasnovic (Vincent), Margaret Wernert (Steve), Gregory Buehler and David Ebert (Anne); many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

A Mass of Celebration will be 10am on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, Kentucky.

Our dear brother will be missed dearly by all of his family and forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Memorials may be made to Homeless Veterans and/or The Wounded Warrior Project.
