Michael C. Ostrander, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 1, 1957 to Betty Bryan and the late Bud Ostrander Sr. He was a retired roofer from Insulated Roofing Contractors and was a Army veteran.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, David Smith and his step-father, Fred Bryan.

Michael is survived by, Donna (Mike Smarch) Ostrander; children, Jason Gibson, Chad Ostrander, Natalie (Brandon) Ostrander, Eddie Ostrander and Lance Ostrander; three brothers, Paul (Mary) Smith, Scott (Debbie) Smith and Bud Ostrander, Jr.; mother, Betty Bryan; grandchildren, Kelsey Gibson, Madison Ostrander and Kara Smith; two sisters, Trina Keene and Geri Smith, and a dear friend who cared for him, Beverly Franklin; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. Visitation will be from 1-4 on Saturday at the funeral home.
