Jerrel Goode, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 11, 2017.

He retired from General Electric and then went on to work for Semonin Realtors for another decade. Jerrel enjoyed collecting classic cars, rubbing the belly of his dog, Waffles, he was an avid UofK fan, and loved being a real estate agent.

Jerrel was born on January 21, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Roy Goode and Marjorie (Eastham) Goode. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Wayne Goode.

Jerrel is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara (Dewitt) Goode; sons, Kerry Goode (Craig), Brian Goode; step-daughter, Maria Smith (Ryan); granddaughters, Brittany Goode, Kayla Goode, Kirsten Jaworski, Kameron Livingston (Derrick); grandson, Saber Smith; sister, Donna Goode; brothers, Roy "Rocky" Goode, Jr. and Derrell Goode (Debi); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service to honor the life of Jerrel will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
