Evelyn Catherine Reed-Gibson, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 2, 1927 to the late Charles and Anna Reed.

Besides her parents Evelyn was preceded in death by her brother Charles Reed, Jr.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, Steve A. (Tammy) Gibson, Charles Reynolds and David Reynolds, two granddaughters, Felicia N. Gibson and Rebecca Reynolds; one grandson Charles Reynolds, Jr.; one great grandson, Jaxon C. Dennis and three other great grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish her memory.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
