Eugene Klauder McManus
1929 - 2017

Eugene Klauder McManus, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 9, 2017 from complications of pneumonia.

Gene proudly served our country during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Bennington in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Augusta and George McManus, brothers Rev. John H. McManus, George P. McManus, sisters Mary Jo Davis and Helen Ann McManus.

Gene is survived by his loving wife Ethonia (Embry) McManus, step-sons, Ken (Kathy) Hancock of Liverpool, England, Steve (Kathy) Hancock of Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Scott (Judy) Hancock of Sautee, Georgia, eight step-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Peggy Reo of Long Beach, New York, sister-in-law Marietta McManus of Florida, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Per Gene's wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
