In Memory Of
Mildred Blye (Weller) "Til" Beeler
1918 - 2017

Mildred Blye “Til” (Weller) Beeler, 98, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born on May 21, 1918, to Frank and Rena Weller of New Haven, Kentucky. After graduating from Boston High School (Kentucky) in May 1938, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Fort Knox Military Post and the Coca Cola Company in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Evangelist Estle Beeler; siblings, Logan Weller, William Weller, Edwin Weller, Floyd Weller and Virginia Hornback.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Sue Gibson (Timothy) and Ann Beeler.

Til enjoyed sewing, quilting, and playing the piano and was a devoted homemaker.

Her family would like to offer special thanks to Hosparus of Southern Indiana for the loving care she received. Thanks especially to Amber Dewitt, RN, and CNAs Jennifer and Cheryl, and the many other Hosparus employees. Gwen Powell, her caregiver, was a great comfort to us. Special neighbors are George and Vicki Dotts, Steve and Janice Hermon, and Carl and Goldie Schindler. We would also like to recognize the Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department for their occasional help.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). To honor Til’s wishes, cremation will follow and a private interment will take place at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
