Linda Haire Bailey, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 21, 1955 to the late James P. and Donna F. Haire. She was a member of the Churchill Downs VFW Auxiliary 2921. She loved her family, sewing, going on adventures and her four grand puppies.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two siblings, Sandy Hobbs and James P. Haire, Jr.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, John Bailey; two daughters, Jennifer (James) Banta and Carrie (William) Bailey-Taylor; a granddaughter, Amelia Banta; a brother, Danny Haire; a sister, Judy (Art) Rogers; a brother-in-law, Don Hobbs; her mother-in-law, Dewey Mae Bailey; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
