James "Jamey or Tubbs" Irvin Creech , 60, of Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away on March 22, 2017. He retired from The Pipefitters Local #502 and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Lynch, KY during his childhood.

James was born on January 19, 1957, in Lynch, Kentucky to the late Hayward, Sr. and Kathleen (Overbeck) Creech. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Richard Creech (surviving sons, Richie and Chad); grandparents, Roy T. and Kathryn Overbeck and Judge James I. and Nan Creech; uncle, Hubert Creech (surviving son Marc); and aunt, Faye Creech (surviving daughter Beverly Webb).

James is survived by his daughters, Ara Creech and Lia Wilhoit (Jeff); fiancé, Mona Lisa Featherston; grandsons, Cody, Pierce, and Keegan Wilhoit; sister, Kaye M. Creech-Nale (John), brothers, Roy (Vickie), Hayward, Jr. (Sue), Kevin (Kaye); aunts, Phyllis Henry (Lee) and (daughter, Dana) and Mary Margaret Colliver Charles (daughter, Kelly) step-mother, Reba Brock-Creech, step-sister, Karen Johnson (Rainbo), step-brother, Bobby Brock (Peggy); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to James' wishes .
