Wanda Jean (Strange) Lyons, 72, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. She was a very crafty person that loved to paint and decorate. Wanda also enjoyed her house plants.
She was born on June 18, 1944, in Clark County, Indiana, to the late Virgil and Ruby (McDonald) Strange. Wanda is survived by her children, Belinda Rhodes (Jack), Tammy Scott (Cliff), Jewel Corn, Jr., and Chantelle Woertz (Jon); grandchildren, Mateesa Corn, Sarah Williams (Kenny), Jeremy Thomas, Marissa Ashcraft (Aaron), Justin Corn, Ben Crase, Chip Frakes Corn, Thomas Corn (Kayla), Jordan Corn, Cameron Ryan, Evan Gabriel, Elijah James, and Sterling Xavier; great-grandchildren, Kayla Williams, Kristian Williams, Haley Thomas, Bryson Ashcraft, Jacob Thomas, Aria Ashcraft, Landon Thomas, and Faithlynn Grace; and great-great-grandchildren, Autumn, Brylynn, Malichai, and Hunter Williams.
Cremation was chosen following Wanda’s wishes, and Newcomer Funeral Home was entrusted with her care. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (210 Quarry Road, Corydon, Indiana 47112).
