George Joseph Reif , 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 15, 2017. He retired from the United States Air Force in which he proudly served during the Vietnam War. George enjoyed working on computers, fishing, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

George was born on May 18, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edwin and Edith (Dixon) Reif.

George is survived by his Wife of 54 years, Mrs. Eileen Ann (Kennedy) Reif; children, Kathleen Marie Rotondo (James), and James Edwin Reif (Kyung); 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial and military honors to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
