1948 - 2017

Sandra Lee Hash, 68, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. After retirement, Sandy became a school bus driver for the Southwestern School Corporation in Hanover, Indiana. She enjoyed woodworking as well as spending time out in the yard.

She was born on February 27, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Garland and Margaret (Lee) Hash. Sandy was also preceded in death by her siblings, William Durbin, JoAnn “Pat” Baker; and grandson, AJ Brendle.

Sandy is survived by her wife of 19 years, Donna (Conover) Hash; sons, John Harlow (Tom), Kevin Marshall (Karen), Jerry Marshall (Courtney); sister, Betty Nochta (William); grandchildren, Kison, Tryce, Vanessa, Kelli, Jacob, Jesse, Peighton, Tayler, Charlea; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Maddie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation was chosen following Sandy’s wishes. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.

Sandy had a love for animals, in particularly cats. The family requests that contributions in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County (PO Box 711, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
