Charlie “Curtis” Massey, 67, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 7, 2016. He loved doing crafts and building things.
He was born on September 1, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Charlie Dinger and Rosie (McNear) Massey. Curtis was also preceded in death by five siblings. Curtis is survived by his sisters, Rosetta Wells and Mollie Alldredge; along with many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen following Curtis’ wishes. A Memorial Service will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Emmaus Road Church (515 Potters Lane, Clarksville, Indiana 47129). Curtis will be laid to rest privately at a later date in Fairdale, Kentucky.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
