In Memory Of
Sheila Ann Oakley
1950 - 2016
Her parents Ernest and Ethel Renshaw, and her daughter, Julie Lynn Oakley, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Oakley, and son, Jason and Karen Oakley, of Louisville, her grandchildren Erica and Jonathan Oakley, and her brother Danny and Vickie Renshaw from Bowling Green, and her sister Hilda and Pete Morris of Madisonville, as well as many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
For those that knew her, she was a constant source of joy, laughter and encouragement. She loved spending time and having fun with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings. She loved talking about her grandchildren and attending all their music and sporting activities. Giving gifts was one of her past-time favorite things to do. She was the type of person that people were easily drawn to and everyone loved. She had an uplifting and kind spirit, and will be greatly missed.
Many will remember her as a dance mom, a hair stylist, or even as an auto sales manager. But her loved ones will always remember her as Gran.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 North Main Street, Madisonville, Kentucky 42431) and from 9:00am until 11:00am on Thursday, October 27, 2016.
