Gary Bernard Pearl, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born in Clarkson, Kentucky on October 26, 1945 to the late Bernard and Marie Pearl. He was a veteran in the United States Army and worked for many years at the Louisville Parks Department. He evangelized for 15 years and eventually became Pastor at Christian Tabernacle for 15 years upon retirement in December of 2015.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Sue, Dennis and Joe.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Lois Pearl; three step children, Kenneth, Ricky and Chris; three siblings, Lonnie, Larry and Jeff Pearl; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Pearl Ministries.
