James Joseph “Jimmy” Bittner, Jr., 17, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, in Rodanthe, North Carolina. Jimmy was a senior at South Central Junior-Senior High School at Elizabeth. He loved being outside, whether it be hunting, fishing, playing football, or riding dirt bikes & four wheelers. Jimmy had a passion for music and enjoyed spending time with all of his friends.

Jimmy is survived by his parents, James Bittner, Sr. (Sherry Powell) & Diana Kuntz (Butch); sister, Kayla Coiner (Chris); grandparents, Rita Brading (Ron), Marilyn Bittner, & J.C. Bittner (Jan); nieces, Gracie & Chloe; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Renn.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 1 PM to 6 PM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Memorial Service will follow at 6 PM at the funeral home.
