Alyne Jones, age 81, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was a member of the Elk Creek Baptist Church. Alyne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillie Bradford; her sisters, Evelyn Burks and Lucille Bradford; and her grandchild, Craig Melvin.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Edgar; children, Edgar Jones, Jr. (Rhonda), Charles Jones (Gwendolyn) Timothy Jones (Wanda), Wanda Melvin and Mitchell Andre’ Jones (Vara); 16 grandchildren; fur-grandchildren, Simon, Oliver and Wally; brother, Edward Bradford, Jr.; sisters, Natholee Harris and Fredia Cardwell; and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Graveside ceremony will be 1pm on Monday, October 24th at Middletown Historic Cemetery.
