Marcie was born on July 31, 1913 in Fulda, Indiana to the late Jacob and Josephine (Collier) Koenig. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Josephine Koenig, Clementine Koenig, Anna Louise (Al) Pasquale, William (Dorothy)Koenig and niece, Nancy (Jim) Buckman.
Marcie is survived by her nieces, Charlene (Frank)Domenic and Debbie (Robert) Ambrico and nephew, Stephen (Kathy) Pasquale. Also survived by great nieces, Wendy (Ray) Palazzo, Angie (Tommy) Kelley, Allison Pasquale, Lauren (Justin) Gunn, Kaitlin Ambrico, Colleen Ambrico and great nephews, James Buckman III, Todd (Jenny) Buckman, Joseph (Andrea) Pasquale, and Christopher (Mary Anna) Domenic. She is also survived by great-great nieces, Kristen Buckman, Kelsey Buckman, Marissa Kelley, Mullaney Palazzo, Sabrina Palazzo, Callista Buckman, Alexa Buckman, Katarina Kelley, Christina Domenic, and great-great nephews, Raymond Palazzo lll, Zachary Palazzo, Ethan Kelley, and Constantine Domenic.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
