Patterson Betty Jean, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 30, 2016. She worked as an RN for Southwest Hospital, for over 30 years.

Betty was born on December 28, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Janie Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Patterson; granddaughter, Tori Shouse; and one great-grandchild, Skilyn Shouse.

She is survived by her loving children, Cindy Fraze (Scott), Sandy Davis (Brian Collins), Kenneth Cox (Amy), Bettina Alexander, daughter-in-law, Ronda Cox; grandchildren, Jessica Heil (Jesse), Jeremy Masser, Bethany Masser, Jeanna Glasscock (Blake), Amber Allen, Hannah Masser (Kasey), David Davis (Alexis), Jaren Fraze, Kaelan Shouse, Nathan Shouse, Kendra Cox, Dylan Cox, CJ Davis, Megan Davis and Koner Cox; and many loving great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service to honor the life of Betty will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 12 noon at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
