1930 - 2016

Rose Ann Smith, age 85, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was a retired Civil Service Employee and was a Catholic by Faith. She enjoyed her time at Nolin Lake, and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Smith; her parents, Carl and Katherine Melcher Grunder; and her sisters, Barbara and Mary.

Rose is survived by her loving children, Steve Smith (Laura Caisse) and Tom Smith (Lana); grandchildren, Katie Smith, Roxanne Smith, Matt Smith and Joe Smith; nephew, Nathan Smith, Robbie Smith; nieces, Kyle, Pam, Carol, Gail and Brenda; sister-in-law, Helen Smith; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Wednesday, July 6th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Schumann Center, 730 East Gray Street
