Candice Marie Wheat, 30, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was a proud volunteer for numerous churches in the local area. Candice loved spending time with her children and will always be remembered as a loving person with a sweet, contagious smile.

She was born on August 13, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky to Neal S. Wheat and Teresa M. (Grantz) Mason. She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott P. Wheat, and grandparents Betty Roberts, Tony Grantz, and Norma and Robert Wheat.

Along with her parents, Candice is survived by her children, Khali, Madison, and William White; and her siblings, Sherry Clifford, Joseph Stepro, and Brittany Wheat.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 3 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11 AM at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Candice’s wishes.

Memorial contributions may be made to her children in care of Teresa Mason.
